The network is Buzzing about Google Arbitrage which is the funneling of massive amounts of traffic to a landing page that is designed with the sole purpose of monetizing keywords with adsense. Let me start by saying that Google Adsense works flawlessly, ehhem, why is this happening? Well maybe googlers upset some webmasters, or didn't pay their bills or for whatever is happening to cause this I couldn't care less.

Google states officially that all search arbitrage adsense accounts will be disabled June, 1st 2007. Unofficially a anonymous informative comment made by someone at a anonymous ad agency told me that this reflects a $70,000 dollar budget cut at google per month.

Google maybe had to have a close look at how they do business which happens every time you slash funding to a corporation. I mean does this mean that " The Company " has just decided that some people were getting a free ride on adsense and these " fronts " are being disabled? I doubt it, google will continue running strong and all these adsense affiliates will most likely start registering again under another shell company or relative I suppose. Google Adsense is too addictive for these google arbitrage garbage collectors of the tail end of search. The money is just so easy.

Come on these searchers are smart they know that having poor results in the database encourages more searching which in turn generates more impressions which is even better for google.

Maybe it just doesn't matter maybe this is a system wide problem and the google engineers just cant deal with it? One bad click is the same for joe blow as it is for another private publisher
