Give me Pictures or the kittens get it

If I don't receive pictures, I will kill this kitten:

I know this scare-tactic has been used before, but trust me, I will do it. If I can't find that exact kitten I will go for a long walk and just randomly kick whatever kittens I can find.

I'm crazy like that.

" Salty Miracle " Pretzel on eBay goes for thousands

Salty MiracleLarge Salty Miracle or big elaborate Joke? The salty pretzel sold on ebay for 10,600 dollars, which was purchased by a large Casino. Its being claimed that this is a official Religious Artifact and that the Virgin Mother is a certified miracle.

The Vatican has officially granted this item as a genuine miracle by Saint Vincient De Capreallo of Rome. It fetched a handsom price indeed and the couple that sold the item says it came to them in a dream first then appeared on the Dinning room table in the morning and was nearly eaten by the children.

Gene Simmons Sex Tape Download - Youtube | Metacafe

The Gene Simmons Sex Tape is resurfacing in the dark seedy back alleys of the internet from the irc lair to the video networks like youtube and metacafe. You can download the video here if you like but I don't encourage that sort of bad publicity that the this type of sex tape can bring. Genes Secret is one of these nasty websites that expose their naughty bits in its true glory. While our video is not that of gene simmons in a green night vision type video but still is in good taste.

Lindsay Lohan photos in new york magazine nude

Lindsay lohan Lindsay Lohan just keeps growing in popularity and now they have discovered that Lindsay has just recently published new nude photos of her in a New York based magazine. The photo shoot was a effort to re-create a photo shoot by Marilyn Monroe in "The Last Sitting".

The photos were leaked onto the internet earlier today and are getting " Really Popular ". The nude Lindsay Lohan photos bare the entire story with leaving little to the imagination. The Performance described by Lindsay was a theatrical performance and work of art. The original photographer Bert Stern had taken the pictures of Miss Monroe originally, Linsay said “It’s eerie,” , “because it’s this picture of her, and it’s kind of cartoony, and there’s a big bottle of pills next to her, and they’ve fallen over.” Lohan also called the original “tragic,”

John Mccain and Vicki Iseman Affair Leaked?

John MccainSmear campaign from the New York Times and Washington Sun have posted a link between Mr.MCcain and Vicki Iseman. The two allegations say that the lobbyist had relations with McCain which in turn would help her " Political Career " . John McCain is of Duty , Honor , and Country but " I am not Perfect " , well with all gutter politics leaves to question intellectual smear Campaign standards.

The evidence must be examined and evidence is still coming out which may hurt McCains chances at presidents. We all understand that Republicans have mastered the art of the " Smear Campaign " but it seems this displays him in a poor light. Americans like to see a good strong family life not a cheat or President that would lie to us. If he is lying to us already what would he do as president.

Pentagons Naval Plans to shoot down satellite falling to earth

Spy Satellite Pentagon Ship
As a spy satellite recently that lost orbit and is falling to earth becomes nearer to us the pentagon has a plan to shoot down the satellite. The Navy has been selected to carry out this terribly important mission. If they don't hit it and target the wrong one they might accidentally hit spudnik or one of the other massive satellites in orbit. The Chinese are also trying to use a four-stage rocket to hit it with SM-3's. The Chinese they said will most likely hit it so they will let the Americans shoot and miss and target it next after that.

The stuff that dreams are made of

I dream of stuff more than a chair and a mattressWhat makes up your dreams? Things which we dream about maybe a new career, winning the lottery or a new home. Maybe you dream about getting back all the money you have foolishly wasted over the years. The stuff that makes up dreams could be different for everyone but some things could be the same for lots of us. Maybe you dream of a swivel chair or a new wooden rocking chair or more than a mattress on the floor of a cold apartment. Maybe you dream of a job where you don't do the same thing day after day and long hours with a company that would rather control its employees than help them succeed.

Search Engine Optimization Company

Seo AdvisorTraffic , Search Engines and your web dollar. What is your incentive to spend your ad dollars for the web? Well if your a Search Engine Optimization Company you would encourage your clients that it is a essential technique to market your website to online searchers. But what are people searching for online? I suggest that don't spend anymore than about $100 dollars to promote your website and never use PPC or pay anyone any more than this since your chances of making a online sale are slim none if your not a established " Name Brand ".

Its a great idea if your idea is to support something that is a failed business model ie. (costs more than it generates in income) and have money to burn but what about realists out their? I am sure the talk of websites generates some buzz but you have to keep the visitors attention and look at the people your catering too nowadays. Todays selfish youth will be occupied for about 30 seconds at most ( And thats a good read ) and if your text is more than 1 block scamper off to another site that gives them what they want if you don't have it. Tough call but the reality of the industry is that it costs thousands of dollars daily and makes pennies a day. A bit Laughable but if your in the tech department you most likely don't care much for the marketing aspect that doesn't work and I am sure your more interested in a paycheck rather than working for nothing.

Get a Search Engine Optimization company that works for you, don't select someone thats just interested in your money. Ahhh Imran means well but talk to him for more than a few minutes and you realize he is a two search queries short of a fully and not a semantic search engine marketing compliant company. Are these companies nothing more than the extended arm of Google? Maybe but I am sure people aren't fooled for long when they rank and find the traffic really isn't their. I suggest doing it yourself if you have nothing but money and allot of time on your hands you don't mind wasting. I think we will just stick to optimizing for infoseek which is the bulk of our traffic base sending almost 10,000 unique visitors a day.

Where has all the Web Traffic Gone?

Web TrafficWhat are people searching for online? I guess we all see the smallest cross section of what people are searching for with Google Web Trends which may be about 1%-90% accurate depending on the day you view the stats. For instance today its showing that a search for Allenna Ward is really popular which coincidently enough was popular a month or two ago. I believe that you have to take this tool with a grain of salt since sometimes this traffic is well.... Inflated. Not quite sure how they generate " Buzz " but I am sure its done with some neat referrer spam taging and a guy named Fritz from Norway.

Downloader TrojanNew Virus Detected !

Mac-dmz.VMS is the newest strain of downloader trojan to hit the internet. The virus paralyzes the largest networks on the internet by disabling the firewalls for switches and attacks Cisco servers solely.

The virus is rated Rapid Fire and migrates from switch to switch by piggy backing tcp packets. The drop of a egg slowly hatches calling a " Deployment " these deployments into other virus and the package seems tailered to blocking all communications of the major ad networks. So far no major ISP's have admited to having a problem but the virus " Wild-Fire " is still active and so far the only viral software detecting the bug is KaspersKy Antivirus (Licensed Version only) available at most major retailers.

By disabling all Cisco equipment to run in DMZ or free relay mode the virus is quickly becoming a problem spreading from network to network targeting the following ad networks making them incapable of runing ads.

How smart are PayPerPost bloggers?

I love PayPerPostIts a question allot of people ask where does payperpost come up with money to pay bloggers with really bad blogs with very little to no traffic $10 per post (P.S. PayPerPost banned us) well I guess we were just too good.

These people just amaze me , I think their amazing because these people really believe in things like the youtube page view counter , unicorns, and peter pan. Sad part is if you give these bloggers the illusion people are really watching their youtube videos they actually pump out more and more of them just to watch some fake counter roll over.

But anyway I guess theirs more to life than that but still its amazing how unreal allot of traffic sources on the net are out their. BTW Google had to reserp " I love PayPerPost " Their flagship launch because we ranked too highly with our anti-payperpost article. Sad when you have to cheat your system because what someone has to say is " Too real for the web " or " Too real for TV " you know how it is.

Yahoo Bankers Worthless?: Millions in Bank Fees?

Has Yahoo finally hit the bottom of the barrel yet? It seems just when you think yahoo is financially dead and on their last leg , somewhere somehow they come up with another few thousand to keep the company afloat. Recently Yahoo has had such a hard time financially it has missed ICANN fees with late payments. Yahoo domains took the hit losing thousands of registered domains because they simply can't be trusted for payment ICANN reports. After a slow quarter it seems the cost factor just to keep the good people at yahoo in a job has grown so high the cutbacks has hit services with the ( Yahoo Hosting/ Inktomi ) division hardest hit.

Apparently rumours are that their are so few people dealing with yahoo webhosting customers and their servers from their Yahoo/Inktomi headquarters that servers are going offline and domain names un-registering due to the late payments to ICANN.

Good luck Yahoo. Take Bills money Jerry and put this one to bed for good.

Making Money with Kontera's CPM Network

Kontera is a CPM network of advertising block you probably seen the videos on youtube. Let me explain in a little more detail how kontera works. Kontera will reward you with cash for impressions of their network. The unique thing with kontera which seperates it from other network is you get a share of the network for instance if I do really good one day say I report superbowl and get thousands of hits kontera takes these impressions and shares them with others not even close to my traffic base.

The great thing about this is every idiot can make money! For example I maybe spend years optimizing links and content and the average blogger moron that doesn't even have a clue about SEO or search engine marketing can make money stealing from the people who spend hours and hours of time. Not saying my time is worth more just saying is why are those that work so hard rewarded so little. Thanks Kontera! 700 dollars a month only if you get 10,000 uniques a day which google has made impossible now just takes too much linking and content. I doubt even I can reach that. Wheres my 700 bucks a month kuntera? Send me a email pointing to your best guys website making 700 dollars a month thanks I await for your email after I rank this.

Pentax Optio 750z Reviewed

The classically styled Pentax Optio 750Z is anything but oldfashioned. Loaded with manual controls, advanced features and a 5x optical zoom, this 7-megapixel camera easily meets the needs of advanced amateurs. At the same time, a full range of program and scene modes delivers point-and-shoot ease of use for those who are less familiar with, or simply aren't interested in using, manual controls.

In addition to the standard USB and AV cables, the Optio 750Z comes with a rechargeable proprietary lithium-ion battery and charger. Included in the bundle is a special version of ACDSee software, a digital asset management program that lets you efficiently organize and manage your picture files. Printed manuals are also included for the camera and the software. With a 7 megapixel camera, the bundled 32MB SD card won't get you far. You'll have to add a high capacity SD card to your shopping list-and we recommend choosing one of the faster cards to zip up performance. They're readily available from SanDisk, Lexar and other makers.
This is definitely one of more attractive cameras in its class and the 750Z's retro styling is cool and eyecatching. Compact, but not too tiny, the camera is small enough to tote everywhere, but not so small that it's difficult to use for folks with larger hands.

The aluminum alloy Optio 750Z is accented with a rubberized leathergrained front panel that provides a comfortable non-slip grip. The camera has a fold-out and swivel 1.8-inch LCD, a welcome and convenient feature for shooting above or below eye-level. While the camera itself feels well-made, the frame around the LCD wasn't up to the rest of the 750Z's physical standards.

Controls are well positioned and identified for efficient and quick setting changes, either via dedicated buttons or a function key. There's a standard mode dial on the top of the camera that switches smoothly but holds its position even when slipped into a purse or camera bag. While the experienced-or adventurous-photographer may figure out most settings on his or her own, the manual is helpful when delving into some of the 750Z's more sophisticated or unique features. Otherwise, the camera is relatively easy to use and point-and-shooters can just set it to Program and snap away.

A well-balanced feature set, with a full range of manual exposure controls and custom settings, provides plenty of options for experienced photographers. One of this camera's strong suits is the range of bracketing choices, which run the gamut from exposure and white balance, to contrast, saturation and more. Interval shooting, which maxes out at 99 images, is also available. And the super macro mode is quite impressive.

A few quibbles: No RAW setting here, but the 750Z does capture TIFF files, as well as JPEGs. And, some of the adjustments, like those for saturation are restricted to three steps. These aren't serious omissions, but they are somewhat limiting if you're looking for total control over image attributes. On the other hand, the 750Z allows you three sets of custom settings. This is particularly helpful if you're changing conditions during a single event so you can easily switch back and forth between, for example, your preferred outdoor and indoor settings.

Another feature that more serious photographers will appreciate is the 750Z's ability to act as an exposure meter. This is a perfect complement to using full manual and will guarantee more accurate exposures. For photographers who want to keep it simple, the Optio 750Z offers a full selection of scene modes for easy shooting, along with a selection of creative effects for inspired-or funimages. You'll find color filters, a 3D setting and a viewer to "see" the 3D images. For easy e-mailing and Web posting, the 750Z also offers in-camera image resizing.

If you're a movie buff, you'll love the 750Z's video mode with sound. First, the quality is quite good for a digital camera. Two resolution choices are offered: 640 x 480 for high quality and 320 x 240 and two frame rate options: 30fps and 15fps. At the lower resolution, you can even use the zoom! For a creative touch, video clips can be captured in black-and-white or sepia.
On the performance side, the Optio 750Z is a mixed bag. On the plus side, this camera performs relatively well under low fight conditions thanks to the AF illuminator, although we had some hits and misses depending on the amount of contrast in the scenes.

The 5x optical zoom, with a 35mm equivalent range of 37.5-187.5 mm, is a bonus. We also liked the lens' responsiveness when zooming. Battery life is quite good, although if you have some spare dollars, it's always wise to have a backup. We can't complain too much about shutter lag, but the 750Z's start-up time is downright slow. Shot to shot time is acceptable, but saving TIFF files takes a long time. And we weren't particularly impressed with its average of one high resolution shot per second continuous shooting speed.

Image quality, however, is quite good, with accurate exposure and above-average detail capture (the latter is particularly obvious in super macro mode). Images were sharp and colors well-saturated, with respectable dynamic range. There was mild to moderate image noise in large, solid colored areas like the sky and at ISO's above 100 and we did notice minor purple fringing, but neither was severe, nor did they lessen our enthusiasm about this camera.

Olympus Evolt E300

One of the most affordable DSLRs on the market, the 8 megapixel Olympus EVOLT E300 is built on the four-thirds system like its professional sibling, the more expensive Olympus E-1. Packed with advanced features that will zing the heart strings of pro-sumers, the EVOLT also makes it easy for budding photographers to grow into more advanced shooting skills. While we have a few quibbles with this camera's performance and image quality, you'll be hard-pressed to find better value on the market today-especially if you're starting from scratch and don't have a collection of SLR lenses.

For less than $1,000, you'll get the camera body, a 14-45mm lens, high powered rechargeable Lithium Ion battery and charger, several cables, Olympus' Master software (which is a step above most bundled management/editing applications), a neck strap and a well-written, printed manual that goes above and beyond many of the user guides we've seen. As with all DSLRs, no media card is included and while we conducted our tests with a SanDisk iGB Extreme CompactFlash card, a 512MB card will get you started. A growing system of compatible lenses (we love the 11-22mm) is available for system expansion, as are external flash units, a ring light, two battery holders and more. But the bundled 14-45mm lens will cover most shooting situations, although you will eventually want to move up to a faster lens since the bundled lens, at f3.5f5.6, is a little slow, which becomes evident in low fight conditions.

Aesthetically, the EVOLT's squat body isn't a beauty, but the ergonomics are quite good and it's one of the lighter and smaller D-SLRs available. Using the camera is fairly intuitive, dedicated buttons are clearly marked and the menu system is easy to navigate, so those familiar with D-SLRs will get up to speed quickly. ' Newcomers, however, will want to
take advantage of the very educational advanced owner's manual.
Its 1.8-inch LCD, which is fairly standard on digital SLRs, is bright and clear. The optical viewfinder could be brighter and, the diopter wasn't quite as strong as we needed for a really sharp view.

Still, our enthusiasm for the camera's feature set is very strong. In addition to full manual exposure control (shutter priority, aperture priority and manual, the EVOLT offers a host of other advanced controls. Manual and preset white balance can be fine-tuned and are enhanced by selectable color temperature and bracketing. Two color space options are available as well.
Saturation, sharpness and contrast can be tweaked and there are several metering and focus choices. The OK button can be customized for quick access to frequently used menus and the camera can be set to default to the user's preferred settings.

Olympus has made it easy for DSLR newcomers to enter the market with more than a dozen scene modes, which range from beach and snow to candlelight and museum. Each scene is accompanied by a sample image and descriptive text, making it very easy for users to make the appropriate choice.

We particularly like the EVOLT's unique information display. Call up the
information and you can change a variety of settings, i.e., flash, AF mode, resolution, without having to call up the menu system. This is a real bonus for changing settings during a busy shoot.
If you've used a digital SLR you've probably experienced annoying dust spots on your images. Thankfully, the EVOLT is equipped with Olympus' Supersonic Wave Filer, which literally shakes any loose dust off the sensor each time the camera starts up. And it works-we've changed lenses many times over in a variety of conditions and never once have we found any dark spots on our image files.

As much as we really like this camera, we have a few suggestions for improvement. First, the resolution/compression options are confusing. RAW and TIFF are no brainers, but the JPEG settings aren't. While we're used to Olympus' SHQ (super high quality) and HQ (high quality) nomenclature, we were frustrated that there was only one compression setting for SHQ. Upon closer inspection, however, we noticed that HQ was really the same resolution as SHQ, with a choice of two higher compression levels. See what we mean? There's also an SQ option, with about a half dozen resolution settings, each available at three levels of compression, but that part was clear and indicative of the kind of options we'd like to see at higher resolution settings.
Mother gripe is the AF focus point settings. The EVOLT isn't the fastest focuser on the block, but we think more accurate AF can be had by increasing the number of selectable focus points from the current three peft, center, right). While photographing a fashion show, which we admit is a challenging situation to begin with, more often than not the models' dresses were in sharper focus than their faces because the focus point selection was limited. We'd also like to see a , separate AF assistant light.

Even though the pop-up flash is positioned higher than most, vignetting was a problem with some lenses at certain focal lengths, especially when using Fa lens shade. On the performance side, the EVOLT doesn't have the robustness of the Nikon D70 in continuous shooting mode and is certainly no competition for the more expensive Canon EOS 20D, but we never felt frustrated nor did we miss any shots because of it.

We absolutely loved some of our test shots, which showed excellent dynamic range, fine details and accurate color rendition even under difficult conditions. Others, however, were very good but not quite as sharp as we'd like, even though we used several different lenses. But image noise was very low until around 400, where it began appearing in shadows. ISO 800 brought on even more noise and we found that pushing the camera to 1600 just wasn't a good idea.

Fuji S3 Pro Digital Camera Review Specifics

On the surface, the 6-megapixel (or 12, depending on how you look at Fuji's Super CCD) Fuji S3 Pro isn't much different than its predecessor, the S2. Rather, Fuji concentrated its work under the hood, incorporating the latest technology like its proprietary Super CCD SR II sensor for extended dynamic range and D-TTL capability. It's expensive though-about $1,000 more than its closest competitor, the Canon EOS 20D. Nor will you find the 20D's performance. But this full-featured D-SLR delivers excellent image quality and is best suited for studio and wedding photographers who want warm, highly detailed images and don't need speedy continuous shooting.

The S3 accepts Nikon lenses, although full functionality is not available with all. Fuji has a compatibility chart on its web site that should be consulted prior to purchasing the camera if you have an assortment of Nikon lenses, especially older ones. Nikon flashes can
be used as well, but only certain models are D-TTL capable; again, look at the specs to see which ones will be fully compatible.

Physically, the S3 looks much like its predecessor and is the largest and heaviest digital SLR in its class but a rubberized grip ensures a firm handhold. When you hold the S3, you'll notice that the build feels more solid and better-integrated. Fuji has also added a vertical shutter release, however there are no duplicate command dials, so it's difficult to adjust settings when you're shooting in portrait. There is a lock switch so you don't accidentally trip the shutter.
Other than the difficulty in accessing anything from the vertical shutter position, the camera's controls and displays are generally quite useable. A 2.0-inch LCD monitor is used for menu display/navigation and image playback, while two display panelsone on top of the camera, the other above the LCD monitor, provide a full complement of data. The rear display panel is linked to the function key and outfitted with four buttons for cycling through and changing the most important settings like white balance, image size and compression, color, tone, sharpness and more. Fortunately you can turn on a backlight for the rear display panel because it can be difficult to read depending on the viewing conditions.

The operational feature set covers all the bases and is not much different than the S2. In addition to Program, there's full manual, aperture- and shutter-priority exposure modes. There are no scene modes. Other basic features include multiple focus and metering modes, a nice selection of flash sync options and selectable focus points, white balance (including Auto, preset and two custom settings)-pretty much everything you'd expect from a camera in this class.
Naturally, the big news is the S3's expanded dynamic range courtesy of its Super CCD SR 11 sensor. Here's an idea of how it works. The sensor has two sets of pixels: the S-pixel, at 6.17 million and the R-pixel, also 6.17 million (hence the camera's 12 megapixel designation). Each has a different range of light sensitivity and the extended dynamic range is the result of combining both sets of data. Additionally, the S3's "S" to "R" pixel ratio is user adjustable.
More simply put, if you're photographing a high contrast scene-like a bride in her white dress and a groom in a black tux, for example-you can adjust the dynamic range in order to capture details in the white dress while maintaining detail in the black tux. Does it work? Yes, but you'll have to look closely to notice the difference and it's more visible in some images than others.
The S3 also uses Fuji's film simulation modes, i.e., film and negative. Use one when you're photographing people and want good skin tone; use the other when you want Velvia-like color saturation (and, as a long-time Velvia film user, we prefer the latter).

Also new-and unique to the S3-is the live image mode. Fuji's on the right track with this, but is not quite there with this preview feature that allows you to view the image on the LCD prior to shooting in order to fine-tune manual focus. As good as this sounds, the black-and-white image and the 30-second display keep it from being truly functional. This feature has promise, though.
As we mentioned earlier, the S3 runs on four AA rechargeable NiMH batteries and, unlike the S2's split power personality, now relies on a single source. The upside is that AA rechargeables are relatively inexpensive and available. The downside is that the battery tray seems a little fragile and we worried about snapping it while inserting the batteries since they, by necessity, have to fit tightly to make contact.

Power-on time is excellent and, as expected, there's no shutter lag. Auto focus is fast and accurate and the S3 is equipped with an AF assist lamp for low light focusing. Continuous shooting performance, however, is far behind most D-SLRs-even those with a much lower price. But people who love the Fuji's SPro series don't love it for its performance. They love it for the camera's image quality which is excellent. We noticed little-to-no purple fringing and image noise was extremely low-even at high ISOs.

Nikon D70 Digital Camera Review

If you're a Nikon shooter with an arsenal-or even a small collection-of SLR lenses, chances are you're going to stick with the Nikon brand for economics alone. Yet even in the highly competitive D-SLR arena, the affordably priced Nikon D70 offers much more than value for the dollar. With excellent image quality, a broad feature set and good performance, the 6.1 megapixel Nikon D70 holds its own against the competition. And, frankly, we think that, in some ways, the D70 outshines its more expensive sibling, the D100, a D-SLR targeted to pros.
The D70 body can be purchased alone or as a kit with an 18-70mm lens. Along with the usual cables, the D70 comes with a proprietary lithiumion battery, charger and Picture Perfect software. You'll have to shell out another $100 if you want the more sophisticated Nikon Capture software.

Although similar in design, the D70 is somewhat lighter and smaller than the D100. While the D70 isn't quite as sturdy as higher-end Nikon D-SLRs, or quite as substantial as the D100, it can with- ' stand the general rigors of shooting in : the field. We didn't treat the camera ` with kid gloves during testing and it stood up well to a variety of outdoor ' conditions. And even when using a long lens, the D70 was well balanced and comfortable to hold.

If you've worked with any of Nikon's D-SLRs, the learning curve here will be minimal. Otherwise, you'll want to read through the manual. Nikon has thoughtfully included a context-sensitive help system, so you can just press the "?" button on the camera for guidance if you get stuck. Control layout is logical, with generally easy access to most commonly used settings. The mode dial, two command dials and various dedicated buttons make short work of changing settings on the fly.

A comprehensive feature-set provides experienced photographers a well-rounded complement of controls. Naturally, there's a full range of manual exposure settings. Shutter speeds range from 30 to 1/8000 of a second; a bulb setting is available as well. Twenty-five different attributes and functions can be set-from multiple bracketing options to AE lock and command dial functionality. Image parameters like sharpness, saturation and hue as well as contrast can be adjusted in-camera with an option to download a custom tone curve.

The D70 also offers several color mode options, including two Adobe sRGB selections: one that delivers more natural skin tones for portraits and one for nature/landscapes. Adobe RGB is also available. White balance settings, preset and custom, can be tweaked to suit any lighting condition and provide an important alternative to the camera's otherwise decent-but not exceptional-auto white balance. Unlike some competitors, however, the user cannot manually set the Kelvin temperature, but interestingly, a custom setting can be used to match the white
balance to that of a previously taken image so you don't have to tinker with se tings for every shot.

Metering, bracketing and focus options-including 5-point selectable focus points-abound. Useful extras include a grid for ensuring straight horizons and the ability to attach an audio comment to an image. We found the highlight alert function useful, as well. With a nod towards first-time D-SLR users, the D70 offers seven Digital VariProgram selections (otherwise known as Scene Modes in more popular cameras). I testing, these program modes worked well but we felt like we were wasting the D70's capabilities by using them.

The D70's hot shoe can accommodate a variety of flashes but for optimum performance and synergy, it's best to use one of Nikon's i-TTL models. If, like us, you already have a Nikon flash that works on D-TTL, you might want to upgrade to get the most out of this system. Frustrating, yes, but if you depend on TTL you'll have to bite the bullet. The good news is that the flash synchs at a very respectable 1/500th second and the built-in flash has great fill capabilities and generally good overall coverage.

With the exception of minor recycling delays when using the built-in flash, the D70's performance is quite good. Start up time is virtually nonexistent and shutter lag is barely perceptible, so you're ready to shoot as soon as the camera is powered on. At 3 frames per second at JPEG/Normal, it's not quite as speedy as the Canon EOS 20D, but an improved buffer keeps the D70 shooting for far more than 100 continuous shots (we used a SanDisk 1 GB Extreme Card). Auto focus performed quite well and we always appreciate being able to set focus points. The D70's AF easily and quickly locked in and only in the lowest lighting conditions did the lens occasionally search for the subject.

Bundled with an EN-EL3 proprietary rechargeable battery and charger, the D70 delivers excellent battery life. We were able to fill a 1GB card several times over without running out of juice. Nikon's outstanding metering system delivered consistently well-exposed images. Likewise, the D70's image quality is excellent, with accurate color rendition and good saturation. While the camera has a tendency to slightly underexpose, we were easily able to compensate by using the EV feature and would much rather have a camera err on the conservative side to hold image information.

Dynamic range was generally good, with nice details in shadow areas. We didn't notice any signs of chromatic aberrations like fringing or halos and noise was rarely an issue even though the D70's ISO starts at a relatively high 200. Although, as expected, noise was more visible at higher ISOs, even then the D70's noise levels were relatively minimal-with and without the noise reduction feature engaged.

Canon EOS 20D Review

At the head of its class, the Canon EOS 20D delivers highpowered performance and excellent image quality in a modestly priced package. Advanced amateurs, pros looking for a compact back-up and less experienced photographers who want to grow their skills will be well-served by this 8.2 megapixel successor to the 10D. The 20D is available in three configurations: body only; as a kit with the EF-S 18-55mm f13.5 -5.6 zoom lens; and as a kit with the EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Wide Angle Zoom lens. A proprietary rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charger come bundled with the camera, but an optional battery grip with vertical shutter release-which takes two Lithiumion battery packs or a set of six AA batteries-is available for extended power supply. In the box are USB and video cables, neckstrap, and printed instruction manual. Canon's Digital Photo Professional. and EOS Viewer Utility software, and Adobe Photoshop Elements are included as well. Like all digital SLRs, the 20D doesn't come with a media card so we recommend the purchase of at least one high capacity, high speed CompactFlash card (we tested the camera with a 1GB SanDisk Extreme Card).

At first glance, the Canon EOS 20D doesn't look much different than its predecessor, the EOS 10D but the ' new camera is about 10 percent smaller and 13 percent lighter. Constructed of magnesium alloy over a stainless steel chassis, the 20D's body is sturdy but doesn't feel particularly heavy. In fact, we were comfortable carrying and using the camera throughout a full day of shooting in the field.

Some small changes have been made to the 20D's control layout, but buttons and dials continue to be easily accessible and fairly intuitive. We particularly liked the new multi-controller button for tasks such as changing focus points and scrolling. It took a little time for us to get used to operating the on/off switch with our thumb, but that's about the only quibble we have with the controls. Not surprisingly, you'll want to go through the manual to get a full understanding of how to use this camera's extensive feature set. This is especially important if you're a first-time D-SLR user and unfamiliar with the button/dial combination method of changing settings.
A solid feature set places the 20D securely in the semi-pro category. In fact, the 20D sports a number of the same features as the more expensive EOS 1 D Mark II, including the ability to adjust and fine-tune white balance. Some of the more advanced white balance features include setting the color temperature and bracketing up to +/- 3 whole stops for magentagreen as well as blue-amber. Shutter speed now goes as fast as 1/8000th of a second, color space is selectable (sRGB or Adobe RGB), RAW and RAW plus JPEG modes are available. We would, however, like to see a spot-metering option in the next iteration of this camera.

MeziMedia Acquired by ValueClick for 100 Million

Valueclick
Mezimedia was recently aquired by ValueClick Media for 100 Million. What they plan on doing with Mezimedia's large network of sites seems to be influx as the migration to their server is in process it seems. It appears the bulk of Mezimedia's work is done with headquarters in Asia and more specifically I believe it is Singapore.

At the end of Q4 Valueclick has announced it still has 40 Million Cash left over. The online advertising industry still hasn't reached its pinnical and is a ever growing market year after year. It is expected that the online industry will reach a estimated 400 Million Users Daily by the year 2010.
