Is it that when opened in AutoCAD that you notice the problem, or is
it when you open it in OMAX Layout that you notice the problem?

A couple of generic things to consider:

+ DXF files often are pretty ambiguous about the units used, so you
may draw something as "1 inch" in one CAD program, and have become "1
mm" in another CAD program. So you may simply have to re-size the
entire drawing to a known dimension.

+ If your process is to go from SU to AutoCAD to OMAX Layout, you
might try going from SketchUp to Layout directly. Then, save the DXF
and bring back to AutoCAD if you need to use it there. Note that
Layout has 4 different import filters for DXF, so experiment to find
the one that works best.

+ If you think the problem is on the OMAX side at all, then email the
file to me (carlolsen@omax.com), and I'll see what I can do or learn
for you. Note also that the latest OMAX software version is 11.0, and
if you have older than that then you have older file filters that may
be less compatible, so upgrading may be useful. There is also an 11.x
Beta out there that has even further updates to DXF (mostly AutoCAD
2008 support.)

+ If the problem goes away with older versions of SketchUP, then the
problem is probably on the SketchUp side, and I'm not sure I can be of
much help, but I can try.

+ If the file started out as 3D, then be sure that the data you want
gets rotated to be flat to the XY plane. Otherwise circles may turn
into squished ellipses, (or conceivably remain circles but at weird
dimensions, though I have not seen that before.)

+ There is a lot of info on file translations and importing in the
OMAX help screens. Look up "Importing" in the index, an
